Sophora moorcroftiana is an important medicinal plant distributed in Tibet,China. It is abundant resources and rich in nutrition and medicinal value. Alkaloids are its main active ingredients. In order to further study the componention of alkaloid of S. moorcroftiana and explore how to excavate its potential advantages as a medicinal resource. This paper reviews the research advances of its alkaloid chemical structure,content determination,extraction technology and biological activity. The present review will provide a scientific basis for the further development and utilization of its medicinal value.
