Abstract: The constituents of volatile oils of Lycopus lucidus var. hirtus were analyzed by head-space solid micro-extraction, coupled with GC-MS. Twenty compounds were identified from the L. lucidus var. hirtus for the first time and account for 98.68% of the total volatiles. The main compounds were caryophyllene (30.87%), (–)-α-panasinsen (11.56%), eremophilene (9.38%), Z,Z,Z-1,5,9,9-tetramethyl-1,4,7-cycloundecatriene (9.10%), 2-cymene (5.65%), germacrene D (4.34%), D-limonene (3.95%) and γ-selinene (3.79%).
