The results showed that Codonopsis clematidea (Schrenk) flavonoid could enhance the SOD activities of mice blood and liver, decrease the MDA content of mice blood and liver, obviously prolong the swimming time of loaded mice, increase the content of liver glycogen and muscle glycogen, and decrease the blood urea nitrogen in mice after swimming. These results indicate Codonopsis clematidea (Schrenk) flavonoid had the antioxidant and antifatigue function.
