Abstract: To explore the general law of dynamic accumulation of the active components, the contents of resveratrol and viniferin in the grape during the different growth periods and different parts were investigated. The major vines, side vines, branch vines, roots, leaves, leafstalk of the cultivar grape of “Redearth” growth in the area of Hunan province as the subjects of analysis, from the periods of April 2010 to February 2011, the resveratrol and viniferin were extracted by the ultrasonic-assisted methanol extracting method and determined by HPLC. The results indicated that the contents of resveratrol and viniferin were significantly different between different tissues, which were taking the order of major vines > side vines > branch vines > roots > leaves and leafstalk. The general law of the contents of resveratrol and viniferin during the growth periods rose at beginning then declined. Especially, the variation trend of viniferin was obvious, and the contents of resveratrol and viniferin in all parts of grape plant were at their peak in September and October.
