Abstract: In order to provide the reference for the clinical utilization of Saluia plebeia R.Br.,this paper investigated the anti-chronic pharyngitis activity and mechanism of Saluia plebeia R.Br.ethyl acetate extract,based on screening of the anti-inflammatory active fractions from Saluia plebeia R.Br.After establishing the chronic pharyngitismodel in rats by ammonia stimulation,this paper explored the praxiology,pharynx pathological observation and double-antibody sandwich ELISA of the model rats which were treated in different dosing of Saluia plebeia R.Br.ethyl acetate extract.The model of chronic pharyngitis in ratswas consistent with the chronic pharyngitis features.HE staining sections showed that Saluia plebeia R.Br.ethyl acetate extract could significantly improve the pathological morphology of pharynx.Compared with the model group,the levels of IL-β，IL-6β，ICAM-1，TNF-α and CRP in the serum of treatment group rats were decreased in different degrees,with the most significant in the high-dose group.The results indicated that the ethyl acetate extract of Saluia plebeia R.Br.owned therapeutic effect on chronic pharyngitis.The therapeutic effect is related to the level of lymphocytes and inflammatory factors in the blood,and improved the level of lymphocytes and inflammatory factors.
