Chemical Constituents of Eriolaena kwangsiensis Hand.-Mazz.

Abstract: Twenty-two compounds were isolated from Erilaena kwangsiensis, and their structures were identified as: lupenol(1), betulinic acids(2), oleanolic acid(3), syringaresinol(4), (+)-isolariciresinol(5), scopoletin(6), p-Hydroxy-cinnamic acid (7), heptacosanoic acid 1-glyceryl ester(8), 2-monoolein (9), sitoindosideⅡ(10), catechin(11), epicatechin(12), epicatechin 3-O-β-D-xyloside (13), kaempferol 3-O-β-D-glucopyranoside (14), genistein(15), 4'-O-methylgallocatechin(16), taxifolin 3-O-α-arabinoside (17), cis-taxifolin-3-O-α-arabinoside (18), taxifolin 3-O-β-glucopyranoside (19), 4'-methoxy-3,5,7,3',5'-pentahydroxy-dihydroflavone (20), kaempferol 3-O-β-D- glucopyranoside (6→1)-α-L-rhamnoside (21), and quercetin 3-O-β-D-glucopyranoside(6→1)-β-D- glucopyranoside(22). All these compounds were natural product, they were obtained from Erilaena kwangsiensis for the first time.
