Chemical Constituents of Suaeda salsa

Abstract: Six compounds were isolated from the ethanol extract of Suaeda salsa (L.) Pall. On the basis of spectral analysis, they were identified as β-sitosterol (1), daucosterol (2), gallic acid (3), quercetin (4), quercetin-3-O-β-D-glucopyranosid (5), and phenylcarbinol-β-D-glucopyranosid (6). All compounds were obtained from this plant for the first time.
