Abstract: Zedoary oil was separated by silica gel column chromatography using petroleum ether-ethyl acetate as elution agent,and then high purity germacrone was obtained through semi-liquid chromatography using methanol-water as mobile phases,its structure was elucidated by ¹H NMR and ¹³C NMR.As a result, germacrone was successfully obtained with the purity of about 99.0%.The results showed that this method can get germacrone with high purity and rate.
