Abstract: Fifteen compounds were isolated from EtOAc and n-BuOH extracts of roots and rhizomes of Zhuang Medicine Argyreia aceta Lour..On the basis of spectral data and literature,the isolated compounds were elucidated as scopoletin (1),scopolin (2),aurantiamide acetate (3),paprazine (4),caffeic acid (5),caffeic acid methyl ester (6),caffeic acid ethyl ester (7),salicylic acid (8),3,7-dihydroxy-5,4′-dimethoxyflavone (9),friedelin (10),epifriedelanol (11),n-hexadecanioc acid (12),1-O-hexadecanolenin (13),β-sitosterol (14) and daucosterol (15).Compounds 1-13 are isolated from A.aceta for the first time.
