Abstract:

This dataset investigates the potential neurotoxicity of myristicin,a compound found in the food spice nutmeg.By integrating data from public resources including PubChem,TCMSP,GeneCards,HERB,OMIM,STRING,DAVID,NCBI GEO and PDB,a multi-layered analytical pipeline was constructed following the sequence of "compound-target -network/enrichment-expression validation-molecular docking." The dataset comprises eight tables (including myristicin ADMET profiles, predicted targets of myristicin, targets associated with Parkinson′s disease and depression, and their intersecting targets,as well as differentially expressed genes validated via the GEO database for myristicin-induced Parkinson′s disease and depression models) and five figures (including the PPI network for toxicity mechanism analysis,GO and KEGG enrichment analysis results, statistical analysis of expression differences for relevant targets validated in GEO datasets, and molecular docking results for core targets). This dataset provides a reference for screening comorbidity risk signals in Parkinson′s disease and depression,as well as for informing food quality control strategies related to myristicin.
