Codonopsis Radix has the effects of invigorating the spleen and lung,nourishing blood and promoting the production of body fluid.It is also an important plant that can be used both as food and medicine and has a variety of pharmacological effects such as anti-tumor,anti-oxidation,anti-fatigue,anti-inflammation,liver protection and stomach protection.In recent years,with the increasing use of Codonopsis Radix,its quality problems have become more and more serious,which seriously affects its clinical efficacy and safe medication.The emergence of omics technology provides a new idea for the research of Codonopsis Radix.In view of this,this paper summarizes and reviews the application of omics technology in the quality evaluation and pharmacological mechanism research of Codonopsis Radix,and puts forward new insights for the further development and utilization of Codonopsis Radix resources and in-depth research on Codonopsis Radix in the future.
