Abstract: To explore the antioxidant properties of different extracts from Ampelopsis grossedentata and their correlation with polyphenols, flavonoids and dihydromyricetin.Four kinds of A.grossedentata extracts were prepared with water and ethanol. The content of total polyphenols, total flavonoids and dihydromyricetin in theseextracts was determined respectively.Antioxidant properties of A.grossedentata extracts were evaluated by four experiments, including scavenging activity of Superoxide radical (O2),hydroxyl radicals (·OH),DPPH radical and reducing power test.Pearson correlation analysis between properties and components was conducted with SPSS software.Meanwhile regression equation model was established. The results showed that antioxidant properties were dramatically different for four extracts, dihydromyricetin extract top, ethanol extracts mediate, and water extract bottom.Total polyphenols, flavonoids, dihydromyricetin content and antioxidant properties were significantly corelative (P < 0.01),which showed that polyphenols, flavonoids, dihydromyricetin were dominant antioxidant factors. However, the influence degree of these three components was discrepant in different antioxidant systems.

Key words: Ampelopsis grossedentata, polyphenols, flavonoids, dihydromyricetin, antioxidant, correlation
