Abstract:

The study is intended to explore the effects of compatibility of Puerariae Lobatae Radix,Schisandrae Chinensis Fructus and Callicarpa Nudiflorae Folium on alcoholism mice.First, healthy male Kunming mice were divided into normal group, model group, control group (oyster extract powder),low dose group, medium dose group and high dose group, with 10 mice in each group. Then, the anti-inebriation effect of the compatibility was evaluated through behavioral and pathological experiments. The behavioral experiments included the measurement of rotating stick and latent period of temulence. And the pathological experiments involved the enzyme activity detection, including alanine aminotransferase (ALT),aspartate aminotransferase (AST),ethanol dehydrogenase(ADH),acetaldehyde dehydrogenase(ALDH).Experiments showed that all dose group of the compatibility can significantly reduce the death rate, extend latent period of temulence and the period of standing on the rotating stick. Also, the activity of ALT,AST decreased obviously, and the the activity of ADH,ALDH was improved significantly. All the effects above were better than the control group. From the above results, the compatibility of Puerariae Lobatae Radix,Schisandrae Chinensis Fructus and Callicarpa Nudiflorae Folium have a great effect on alcohol intoxication.
