Abstract:

Five abietane diterpenes were isolated from CHCl3-solved potion of EtOH extraction from Callicarpa pedunculata R. Brown. On the basis of spectroscopic analysis, these compounds were identified as dehydroabietic acid (1), 7-hydroxydehydroabietic acid (2), 7-hydroxydehydroabietic acid (3), 7-oxodehydroabietic acid (4), and 6,8,11,13-abietatrien-18-oic acid (5). These compounds were isolated from this plant for the first time.

Key words: Callicarpa pedunculata R. Brown, dehydroabietic acid, abietane diterpene
