Abstract: To evaluate the best anti-inflammatory active sites of Phyllanthus emblica extracts. In this study, different solvent extracts were obtained by using water, ethanol, ethyl acetate and petroleum ether as extraction solvent. The model of inflammation was induced by lipopolysaccharide-induced RAW264.7 macrophages. The NO secretion and cytokine release (TNF-α、IL-1β、IL-6)were used as indicators to select part of the best anti-inflammatory activity of Phyllanthus emblica.The different solvent extracts of Phyllanthus emblica had no obviously cytotoxicity (P>0.05) at the concentration of 25~400 μg/mL.Compared with the model group,water①,water② and ethanol extract could significantly inhibit the secretion of NO from macrophages induced by LPS (P<0.05).In the cytokine test, the ethanol extract significantly inhibited the secretion of IL-1β and TNF-α (P<0.01) by LPS-induced RAW264.7 macrophages. The ethyl acetate extract inhibited LPS-induced RAW264.7 macrophage secretion of IL-6 is the best.Phyllanthus emblica ethanol extract was screened as the best anti-inflammatory active site which significantly inhibited the secretion of NO and cytokines (TNF-α,IL-1β,IL-6) in RAW264.7 macrophages and it can be used as a target for the subsequent separation of the anti-inflammatory active substance monomer.
