Abstract: Rabbits skin medication acute toxicity test,rabbit skin irritation and guinea pig the initiative skin allergy test were manipulated with the Dragon’s Blood gel to provide safety evaluation basis for clinical research on this new drug.The rabbit acute toxicity testing of transdermal drug delivery,skin irritation in rabbits and guinea pigs take the initiative to skin allergy tests.The Dragon’s Blood gel was tested using rabbits with the dose of 30ml/kg/d within 24 hours which equivalent to 9g/kg.bw/d crude drug in whole for about 120～176fold of the clinical dosage via skin medication.No death and systemic acute toxicity appeared in the rabbits with normal and injured skin of each group the Dragon’s Blood gel had noirritatived to neither rabbits normal nor injured skin.Yet The Dragon’s Blood gel had none allergy effect to guinea pigs.It is safe to use Dragon's Blood gel.
