Abstract:

The aging drugs of Pinelliae Rhizoma and the processed drugs of Pinelliae Rhizoma, such as Pinelliae Rhizoma Praeparatum cum Alumine,Pinelliae Rhizoma Praeparatum and Pinelliae Rhizoma Praeparatum cum Zingibere et Alumine, can exert different effects in the treatment of diseases, which are “homologous and heterogeneous effect” of traditional Chinese medicine. In order to achieve the effect of alleviating drug properties and enhancing drug efficacy, the phenomenon of “the longer, the better” has been recorded in the past dynasties.Modern research focuses on the mechanism of processing attenuation, quality control, chemical composition and efficacy differences of processed decoction pieces.Studies have shown that there are differences in the active components and pharmacological effects of decoction pieces before and after processing, but the current research lacks the combination of micro-mechanism and macro-theory to fully explain this phenomenon. In this paper, the historical evolution and modern research hotspots of aging, toxicity and processing of Pinelliae Rhizoma were reviewed. From the perspective of supramolecular chemistry of traditional Chinese medicine, this paper attempts to clarify the supramolecular mechanism of the change of the aging efficacy of Pinelliae Rhizoma, the attenuation of processing and the “homologous and heterogeneous effect” of Pinelliae Rhizoma by using the autonomous action law of supramolecular “imprinting template”,aiming to provide reference for the in-depth study of decoction pieces and clinical rational drug use.
