Abstract: The type 2 diabetes animal model induced by high-fat diet and streptozotocin (STZ) were used to study the effect of Schisandra chinensis,Rosa laevigata and Cornus officinalis with different doses on blood glucose, oxidative stress and lipid metabolism. The results showed that blood glucose (FBG),glycosylated hemoglobin (HbA1c),fasting insulin (FINS) levels were significantly decreased, but liver glycogen was increased, the metabolic balance of free fatty acids (FFA),total cholesterol (TC),triglyceride (TG),high density lipoprotein (HDL-C) were regulated;NADPH (NADPH) content in liver was decreased, meanwhile glutathione peroxidase (GSH-Px) and liver glycogen in liver were increased, these results indicated that the liver function in Schisandra group was recovered; The experiment exhibited all of the three Chinese medicines could improve T2DM high sugar and fat status,in which the Schisandra improve T2DM high sugar and fat status much better.
