Abstract: The Zanthoxylum plants have the important food and medicine function.The major bioactive ingredients identified from this genus contain the alkaloids,amides,lignans,and coumarins.Herein, the anti-tumor activity of these components were summarized and discussed,which will provide a theoretical basis for the discovery and identification of further anti-tumor natural compounds from Zanthoxylum.
