Abstract:

Cinnamaldehyde,as a natural small molecule compound, has anti-inflammatory,analgesic and anti-tumor activities. To investigate the possible mechanism of cinnamaldehyde on cell apoptosis and the expression of HPV E6/E7 protein in human cervical carcinoma Siha cells,CCK-8,flow cytometry,JC-1 fluorescence probe and Western blot methods were used to detect in this study. Results showed that cinnamaldehyde had significant anti-tumor growth effects, arrested G2/M phase and decreased mitochondrial membrane potential. Moreover, mechanism studies confirmed that cinnamaldehyde down-regulated the expression of E6/E7 protein through proteasome pathway.Further study verified that cinnamaldehyde had synergistic anti-cervical cancer effect combined with paclitaxel, cisplatin and 5-fluorouracil,respectively.
