Determination of Notoginsenoside R1 in Sanqi Xiaoshuan Tablets by HPLC

Abstract: A HPLC method for the determination of notoginsenoside R1 in Sanqi Xiaoshuan Tablets was established.The separation was carried on a Phenomenex Luna C18 column(4.6×250 mm,5 μm)and acetonitrile-water was employed as the mobile phase in gradient elution mode.The flow rate was 1.0 mL/min with UV detected wavelength at 203 nm and the column temperature was set at 30 ℃.The linear range of notoginsenoside R1 was 0.02922~1.984 mg/mL(r=0.9999).The average recovery was 99.37% and RSD was 2.1%.The method is simple,accurate,specific and reproducible.It is suitable to the quality control of Sanqi Xiaoshuan Tablets.
