Abstract:

In order to explore the effects of different raw materials and temperatures on the composition of wood vinegar.Components of eucalyptus wood vinegar in different temperature ranges were analyzed, and keywords of wood vinegar, pyroligenous acid, smoke liquid, and pyrolysis liquid were searched in 10 domestic and international databases. The scientific papers were published from 1996 to 2020 and a total of 75 scientific papers on the composition of wood vinegar were obtained according to the requirements of scientific papers screening,as well as GC-MS analysis of eucalyptus wood vinegar components at different temperature ranges of 270-340 ℃ and 370-400 ℃.The analysis of wood vinegar compositions were conducted by statistical analysis methods such as cluster heat map analysis,NMDS analysis, linear equation relationship analysis, correlation analysis and random forest model. The results showed that there were significant differences in the composition of wood vinegar with pyrolysis temperature lower than 350 ℃and higher than 350 ℃ (P<0.01,R=0.466);when the pyrolysis temperature is lower than 350 ℃,the average relative content of acids is the highest, accounted for 39.66%.When the temperature higher than 350 ℃,compared with pyrolysis temperature ranges lower than 350 ℃,the relative contents of phenolics and ketones increases by 1.9 times and 1.3 times, respectively.Acids and aldehydes were reduced by 86% and 56%,respectively;and the contents of ketones, aldehydes, alcohols, lipids and other substances were less than that of acids and phenolics.Temperature was negatively linear relationship with acids (y=-0.08x+55.7) and positively linear relationship with phenolics (y=0.03x+19.15).The random forest model results showed that the acids (MDA =14.9% and MDGini=25.4%) and phenolics(MDA=9.7% and MDGini = 19.25%) were the main components of wood vinegar;phenolics significantly negatively correlated with acids (P<0.01,r2=-0.43),alcohols were significant negative correlation with ketones (P<0.01,r2=0.23),among them, acetic acid (29.48%) was the highest content among acids compounds, followed by propionic acid (3.13%).Phenol (8.07%),2-methoxyphenol (8.02%) and 2,6-dimethoxyphenol (5.72%) main the phenolics compounds, while furfural (8.31%),1-hydroxy-2-acetone (5.18%) and furfuryl alcohol (2.52%) were the main compounds of aldehydes, ketones and alcohols. This research will provide references for the resource utilization of biomass waste and the development of wood vinegar functional products.
