Research Progress on Chemical Constituent and Pharmacological Activity of the Ethno Drug of Prinsepia utilis Royle

Abstract

Abstract: Prinsepia utilis Royle is commonly used herbs in Yunnan because of its extensively effects and application.The chemical components of Prinsepia utilis Royle are mainly flavonoids,terpenoids,fatty acids,lignans,sterols,polysaccharides and amino acids with a variety of pharmacological activities such as its antibacterial,adjust blood glucose and lipid,immunomodulatory,antiinflammatory,antitumor,etc.This paper summarized the chemical components，pharmacological activity of Prinsepia utilis Royle,provided reference for further research and development.
