Abstract:

To explore the lipid contents and differences of Kadsura coccinea seeds of different varieties, the differences in lipid components and highly enriched components among the Tiger Green seeds, Bright Red seeds and Pink seeds of Kadsura coccinea varieties were identified and analyzed by the widely targeted metabolomics technology in the study. The results showed that the total lipid content was as follows: group 1 (tiger green seeds)>group 2 (bright red seeds)>group 3 (pink seeds). The lipid components included one of free fatty acids , three kinds of glycerolipids, thirteen kinds of glycerophospholipids, four kinds of sphingolipids, two kinds of sterol esters and others, among which the content of triglyceride was the highest. There were one hundred and seventy two lipid differences among the seeds of the three groups. The lipid content differences of 2-[2-[(Z)-hexadec-9-enoyl]oxy-3-tetradecanoyloxypropoxy]-2-[2-(trimethylazaniumyl)ethoxy]acetate,1,2-dipalmitoyl-sn-glycero-3-O-4'-(N,N,N-trimethyl)-homoserine and lysophosphatidylinositol were particularly significant. group 3 was compared with group 1 and group 2 respectively, the number of glycerophospholipids was the largest. As for the comparison between group 1 and group 2, the free fatty acids had the largest number among the types of differential lipids. Further analysis through enrichment revealed that the differential lipids among the groups of K. coccinea seeds were mainly enriched in the following metabolic pathways: glycerophospholipid metabolism, arachidonic acid metabolism, linoleic acid metabolism, fatty acid biosynthesis, unsaturated fatty acid biosynthesis and sphingolipid metabolism and others. The seeds of different varieties of K. coccinea have significant differences in lipid components, contents and metabolic pathways, to reveal the environmental stress adaptation ability and potential functional characteristics of different varieties of seeds.
