Abstract: The genus Bousigonia was a well-known traditional medicine of Dai nationality,which contained a lot of alkaloids with complex and variable structures and good biological activities.In this paper,the research on the structure types and anti-tumor and anti-HIV activities in vitro of 95 alkaloids isolated from genus Bousigonia were systematically reviewed,which would provide a reference for more reasonable development and utilization the plant resources of the genus Bousigonia in the follow-up study.
