Abstract: Eleven compounds were isolated and purified from the endophytic fungus Colletotrichum sp. HK-08 from the leaves of Nerium indicum by various chromatographic techniques, and the structures were identified as butyl 2-(4-hydroxyphenyl)acetate (1),4-hydroxyphenethyl acetate (2),phenethyl 2-phenylacetate (3),phenethyl 2-(4-hydroxyphenyl)acetate (4),4-hydroxyphenethyl 2-(2-hydroxyphenyl)acetate (5),4-hydroxyphenethyl 2-(4-hydroxyphenyl)acetate (6),4-hydroxybenzaldehyde (7),2-(2-hydroxyethyl)phenol (8),4-hydroxybenzoic acid (9),1-(4-hydroxyphenyl)ethenone (10) and 3a-hydroxyindoline (11).Among them, compounds 4,5 and 11 were new natural products, and 1~6 and 11 were isolated from Colletotrichum sp. for the first time. The bioactivity results showed that compounds 4 and 6 exhibited certain cytotoxic activities.
