Abstract:

The fingerprint of Verbenae Herba was established and the contents of four effective components were determined to provide reference for the quality control of Verbenae Herba. The fingerprint of Verbenae Herba was established by ultra performance liquid chromatography (UPLC )method, and the common peaks were identified by high resolution mass spectrometry. The relative peak areas of the common peaks in the fingerprints of 15 batches of Verbenae Herba were used as variables for chemometric analysis, and the contents of the effective components of hastatoside, verbenoside, acteoside and isoacteoside in 15 batches of Verbenae Herba were determined. The results showed that there were 16 common peaks in the fingerprint of Verbenae Herba, and six of them were identified.Cluster analysis (HCA) and principal component analysis (PCA) divided 15 batches of medicinal materials into three categories, and orthogonal partial least squares discriminant analysis (OPLS-DA) screened seven different components with VIP>1.0.The content determination results showed that the contents of hastatoside, verbenoside, acteoside and isoacteoside in different production areas were significantly different. This method can effectively analyze the quality difference of Verbenae Herba from different habitats, and provide a reference for the quality evaluation of Verbenae Herba from different habitats.
