Abstract:

Millettia nitida Benth. var. hirsutissima Z. Wei, as a type of vine like traditional Chinese medicine, is widely used in promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis, as well as relaxing tendons and unblocking collaterals. Its chemical composition is rich and diverse, mainly including flavonoids, triterpenes and steroids, lignans, phenolic acids and other components, which have pharmacological effects such as regulating the blood system, anti-tumor, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, etc. By reviewing the chemical components and pharmacological effects of M. nitida var. hirsutissima, the quality markers (Q-Marker) of M. nitida var. hirsutissima were predicted based on the properties of traditional Chinese medicine, the measurability of chemical components, blood components, pharmacological effects, network pharmacology, plant genealogy and chemical ingredient endemism. Preliminary predictions indicated that luteolin, daidzein, genistein, formononetin, isoliquiritigenin, biochanin A, kaempferol, and hirsutissimiside F could be used as the main Q-Marker for the quality evaluation of M. nitida var. hirsutissima.
