Analysis of chemical quality characteristics of Ligustri Lucidi Fructus from different producing areas

Abstract: In order to provide evidence for quality standard improvments of Ligustri Lucidi Fructus,the chemical quality characteristics of which from different producing areas were analyzed.By the HPLC method,the contents of ligustroflavone,specnuezhenide and salidroside of Ligustri Lucidi Fructus were detected,and its whole chemical quality characteristics characterized by the HPLC fingerprints were established.What's more,the characteristics of the HPLC fingerprints were analyzed by similarity,principal component analysis(PCA)and systematic cluster analysis.The results of fingerprints showed there was difference on the variations of the three components contents of the Ligustri Lucidi Fructus from different producing areas.The results of fingerprints showed that the types of chemical ingredients of the Ligustri Lucidi Fructus from different producing areas were consistent,but there were difference on the whole quality characteristics.The ingredients such as ligustroflavone,specnuezhenide and the other unknown components were involved in the difference expression.The quality characteristics of Ligustri Lucidi Fructus from different producing areas intercross,there were no obvious regional characteristics.So,there were differences on the chemical quality characteristics of Ligustri Lucidi Fructus from different producing areas,but the current evaluation indexs couldn't really reflect the difference,its quality control standard should be further perfected.
